Careers Counseling For Schools and Organisations

Global College Counselors Ltd are accredited practitioners of the Morrisby Series of psychometric tests.

This is a battery of tests that examines:

• verbal ability
• numerical ability
• perceptual ability
• spatial ability
• mechanical ability

Additionally there are questionnaires to examine general career interests and personality traits.

These online tests can be administered by a GCC associate, or taken at home using instructions provided by GCC and take just under 1 ½ hours with a short break. They do not require any special research or homework. These tests have been developed by the Morrisby Organisation, the UK’s leading developer of careers guidance systems and services.

After the tests and questionnaires have been completed then a full guidance report is produced. This very detailed report then acts as a tool for further discussions with the student. During the discussion the students will be guided through how to interpret their profile and how to use that to explore their school subject options as they relate to possible university courses and careers.  A list of matched careers is then discussed with advice on how to adjust it based on personal priorities. Included in the report is a description of each career area that matches the student’s talents and interests. Alongside these descriptions are lots of resources and details of relevant professional bodies from whom further information can be obtained. Students have access to the Morrisby website and all of the online tools for life.

The students receive their individual reports during a follow up interview with a GCC associate and will last approximately 30 minutes. Interviews can be conducted in person at the school or online.
